September 19-20, 2009 in Centerville and Xenia, Ohio

2009 is Heart to Honduras’ 20th Anniversary! Twenty years of feeding the poor, clothing the naked, healing the hurting, housing the homeless and giving hope to the hopeless. These core values, initiated by Charlie Smith, have guided our actions all these years and will continue to guide us as we move forward! Southminster has been part of that and we would like to invite you to 2 events this fall!

Saturday, September 19, we will gather at Yankee Trace Golf Club in Centerville, Ohio (south of Dayton) to participate in our bi-annual Heart to Honduras Classic. This is a wonderful day of food, fun, fellowship & fundraising. Proceeds will go to Phase II of our Lake Yure Camp project.

The next day, we will host another gathering, this one a celebration! Sunday, September 20 at Schindler Banquet Center at the Legacy Center in Xenia, Ohio will be our 20th Anniversary Celebration Service and Dinner. Heart to Honduras President, Gordon Garrett, Executive Director Miguel Pinell and others will share in this wonderful evening of worship, testimonies and dinner.
