Southminster's garden project is up and running, offering corn, tomatoes, greenbeans, cabbage, melons, cucumbers, summer squash, zuccini, beets, onions and pototoes. We will have pumpkins in time for Halloween. Our produce stand is open here at Southminster every Saturday morning from 9 AM - 1 PM. Always, always we are in need of volunteers to work the produce stand on Saturdays and to help with the picking, weeding, and some planting.
To volunteer, call Janet 889*7852. As of August we have raised $1061.75 for our building fund Phase II. Any produce we do not sell is taken to a local mission each Monday morning
