On Sunday August 30, four Sunday School students will be promoted during our worship hour. Also, our Sunday school teachers will be commissioned. Teachers for the fall quarter are: Claire Coons, Kathy Walter, Fran Brower, Tammy Gill, Sharon Davis, Janet Coons, Gary Straber, Brent Walter and Michelle Straber, Greg Glover, Ron Rockey, Bill Clark, and Chris Coons. John Rockey and Janet Ingle will assist with substitute duties. We have added a new class this fall, a 1st & 2nd grade class. David C. Cook Publications, Presbyterian Church USA, and Activate Faith curriculum by Augsburg Press will be reviewed during the fall quarter. We are challenged this quarter in that we are sharing our space with our new preschool, Loving Hearts Learning Place. Their staff of 12 teachers and 2 administrators are working with our volunteer teaching staff to form a seamless transition.
