Here are the updates from our meeting this evening:

Agenda:

Fall Activities: We will a Fall Weiner Roast/ Blanket Drive to benefit Horizon House on Sunday Evening, November 1st. The All Church Christmas Project mission for October is Horizon House, this collection along with the blankets collected from the weiner roast will all be delivered to Horizon House. We are asking the Deacons and the Youth to join us in providing the food in order to have a fun night! Fellowship Committee Members please bring a 1/2 gallon of apple cider, Deacons will bring the apples and carmel dip and the youth will bring the hot dogs and buns. Sharon Davis agreed to use her tractor if she can locate a wagon and take us on a hayride. We will be asking our guitar players and song leaders if a few might be available to lead in campfire songs. If you have any hot dog sticks, please bring them. Should be a fun night!

Clubs and Ministry Fair:

We have decided to introduce a few "Clubs" at the Ministry Fair. We thought it would maybe be a different way to organize some of the activities that we try to have throughout the year.
Supper Club: Sign up to participate in the Supper Club. Participants will each pick a recipe provided with a theme in mind like mexican food. Particpants would prepare their dish to bring to the Dinner to enjoy together! Dinner conversation topics could be about mission work that might be going on in the area that the dinner is themed around and an offering might be collected to send to support the mission work.

Culture Club: Sign up join a group to go on outings together. Babysitting may be offered for some of the outings. Outings we plan to organize are: High School presentation of "Anything Goes" in November, Connor Prairie, a show at Buck Creek, Ice Skating, The Childrens' Museum Haunted House.

Family Fun Night: Sign up to join a group to get together and play games!

For the Ministry Fair we will put out sign up sheets for those interested in joining or getting news about any of the clubs. We will see what the interest and then begin organizing the events! Our next meeting will be in October. Please be thinking about which club you might be more interested in helping with! Pleae confirm that you will be able to participate in the Weiner Roast and if you will be able to bring a 1/2 gallon of apple cider.
