The building, formerly known as the trailer or annex, has been cleaned, painted inside and out, and has two new beautiful decks. Plans are in the making for new flooring. In short the building has been transformed from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan. So now we need a new name for the building, a name more appropriate to its new look and new purpose. Since its new purpose is a meeting place for the junior and senior high Sunday school classes and the youth groups, the Christian Education committee is announcing a contest to "NAME THAT BUILDING", open to all junior and senior highs. Please submit your entries; serious, humerous, and yes, even thoughtful and appropriate, to the contest box in the Gathering Place. Youth may submit multiple entries. All entries must be submitted in writing and will become the sole property of the Christian Education committee. If you can't make your way to the contest box, youth may email their entries to Kathy Walter or Janet Ingle. The contest will end on February 8th, the date of the next CE committee meeting. The winner will be announced the following Sunday. For an appropriate prize, we are thinking maybe a big fat pizza party for the entire group with something special for the winning entry. Youth, look for the BIG ORANGE BOX, in the Gathering Place.
