Southminster is excited to announce its 2010 Vacation Bible School set for the week of June 7th - June 11th. This year we will be including most of the children from Loving Hearts Learning Place and we are looking forward to a week of exciting Bible stories about Biblical heroes, some very small and young. Our theme this year is HERO HEADQUARTERS and is based on 1 Timothy 4:12 which tells us "Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. Five Bible stories will show us how we can be heroes for God by doing the unexpected, taking action, stepping out in faith, saving the day, and standing for truth. Kids will enjoy great songs, games, snacks, Bible stories and amazing crafts. This year, Bible school will be from 9 AM - 11:30 AM. We will all get an actual HERO cape and have fantastic fun each day. For information call the church office at 862-6612.
