Because of the recent visit to Southminster by Mark Hare, Presbyterian missions co-worker in Haiti, many of you have asked how we can help in the current disaster. I am copying below the message sent today by the Whitewater Valley Presbytery detailing the initial response by our denomination and indicating how we may help. I will update you as we learn more.

Mark Hare, Presbyterian Mission Worker in Haiti, will visit Southminster and speak to the youth on the Sunday afternoon and evening of October 11. We are seeking a host family. (Contact Chris Myers or Pastor Greg to volunteer.)
