Haiti Earthquake: Presbyterian Mission Response

Dear Friends,
Because of the recent visit to Southminster by Mark Hare, Presbyterian missions co-worker in Haiti, many of you have asked how we can help in the current disaster. I am copying below the message sent today by the Whitewater Valley Presbytery detailing the initial response by our denomination and indicating how we may help. I will update you as we learn more.
Please join me in praying for our neighbors in Haiti.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Greg

Presbytery Message

Dear Whitewater Valley Presbyterians:

Missions Visit Featured in Presbyterian News Service

Mark Hare's visit to Southminster was featured as a story on the Presbyterian News Service on October 15 in a story by reporter Bethany Furkin entitled ‘Life in Haiti abounds’. The story provides a great summary of the presentation Mark made to the Southminster youth groups and congregation. If you were not able to attend, catch up with this mission event online at http://www.pcusa.org/pcnews/2009/09887.htm.
