Here are the activities that are taking place in November for the Silver Flashes.

The Silver Flashes are keeping busy during the month of November. Open Gym is still available at Zion United Church of Christ, 8921 E. Troy Avenue, on Mondays and Wednesdays. Available hours are Mondays 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (Gym is closed for walking from 10:15 - 11:15 due to Chair Yoga). Coffee, tea and refreshments are available. Come join in the table discussions.

Is the heat keeping you captive indoors? Are you looking for things to do throughout the day? Then consider attending some of the Silver Flashes activities planned throughout the month of July.

The monthly Silver Flashes Luncheon and Program has finally been "completed". If you recall, I mentioned it was "under construction". The monthly luncheon and program will be on Wednesday, June 29 at Nativity Catholic Church, 7225 Southeastern Avenue. Lunch will be served at 11:30. The attendees will be entertained by an accordion player during the program. R.S.V.P.'s should be called in to Linda Swain (861-4440) by Sunday, June 26.

Do you enjoy playing Bingo? Plan to come to the Silver Flashes monthly luncheon Wednesday, September 29 for a good time! There will be no charge, just a "freewill donation" to help offset the cost of the prizes. This will be held at Zion United Church of Christ, 8921 E. Troy Avenue. A freewill donation lunch will be served at 12:15 with Bingo beginning at 1:00. R.S.V.P.'s should be called in to Becky Burgess-Osher at 891-0312 by Sunday, 26.
